Adult survivors of kid abuse and levels of wellness and well-being
The analysis shows that adult survivors of childhood corruption were more probable to have taken illegal drugs in the final year than those who had not experienced abuse as a kid (12% compared with 8%).
They were also almost twice as likely to study having a long-standing illness or disability compared with those who were not driveling equally a kid (28% compared with 15%)6.
At the aforementioned time, 78% of child abuse survivors said their health, in general, was "very skilful" or "skillful", compared with 87% of those who did non experience corruption as a kid.

A spokesman for child protection charity, the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) said: "A child's experience of abuse must never dictate their future, which is why we work straight with victims to aid them recover and go their lives back on track.

Other research
